NOTE: The board at the shrine entrance reads Ebisu (海老寿).  The name of the god Ebisu is usually written as either 恵比須 or 恵比寿.  However, here it is written using the same initial kanji as in the name of the publisher Ebi-ya Rinnosuke.  The publisher’s name also appears in hiragana (ゑびや) on the placard below Hantoki Kurobei’s chin.
