series is not listed in either Kuniyoshi:
The Warrior-Prints by Basil William Robinson (Cornell University Press,
Ithaca, NY, 1982) or Kuniyoshi by
Basil William Robinson (Victoria and Albert Museum, London, 1961). The prints are each about 10 by 7 inches
(25 by 18 centimeters), a size known as chûban. I am grateful to Vladislav Shevyrev for his
contributions to this series. |
