NOTE: The left and center panels bear Kunisada’s signature (Gototei Kunisada ga, 五渡亭國貞), but the right panel is signed by Kuniyoshi (Ichiyûsai Kuniyoshi ga, 一勇斎 國芳 ).  At least one other copy of this triptych is known to have the same signatures.

NOTE: The text on the sekihi reads no smelly vegetables, fish, meat, or alcohol beyond the temple gate (fukyo kunshu nyûsanmon, 不許葷酒入山門).  This is a common proscription at Buddhist temples.
