| Ômi hakkei is a common subject in Japanese art that is usually
  translated as Eight Views of Ômi, Ômi being a province in Japan that is now known as Shiga
  Prefecture.  This series has fan-shaped
  insets of aizuri-e (printed in blue) landscapes.  The prints are each about 10 by 14 inches
  (25 by 36 centimeters), a size known as ôban. |
