In this group of fan prints (uchiwa-e), the texts in the title cartouches vary.  However, all show beautiful women (bijin) with flowers in the evening, all are dated the second or third month of 1853, and all those with publishers’ seals were published by Enshű-ya Matabei.  The prints are each about 9 by 10 inches (23 by 25.5 centimeters).  This series is not listed in Kuniyoshi by Basil William Robinson (Victoria and Albert Museum, London, 1961).
