Description: Mounted combat between Bachô and Chôhi, lit by fires and torches, and watched by two sovereigns in their carriages

This is the original state of the above triptych, which was not recorded by Robinson.  It was published by Fujioka-ya Keijirô in 1851, with seals of the censors Mera and Watanabe.  I am grateful to Robert Pryor for this image.
